According to UK manufacturer Action Hose Couplings (AHC), a frequent cause of problems occurring at the loading rack during product transfer between a terminal and a road tanker is a rise in vapour pressure in the vehicle compartment and vapour recovery ducting. This is particularly likely when four or five loading arms are used at the same time in order to fill the tanker.
