Producers which cannot offer a full range of products and services on a worldwide scale are losing out to those that can, spurring many companies to form global alliances. The trend towards single sourcing among major packaging users has prompted a number of intermediate bulk container (IBC) manufacturers to arrange regional or global alliances.
