Multimodal The UN experts had to consider a number of technical developments at their December meeting, but also had time to reject - at least for now - the idea of vibration testing and tighten up the rules for cylinder marking. The 26th meeting of the UN Sub-committee of Experts on the Transport of Dangerous Goods (TDG) took place in Geneva this past November 29 to December 7. This was its fourth and final meeting during the 2003/2004 biennium, designed as a chance to review and confirm decisions made at the preceding three meetings prior to their rubber-stamping by the plenary Committee for publication in the 14th revised edition of the UN model regulations. As it turned out, however, the Sub-committee took the opportunity to introduce some new amendments and to revisit some significant decisions already taken.
