After hunkering down in the lab in '05, Australia-headquartered petroleum equipment producer Liquip is making an energetic market push in '06 with new management, new products and new acquisitions. This year alone, Liquip has opened an Asia office, acquired Beta Fluid Systems, a major US manufacturer of aviation fuel hydrant trucks and pressure equipment, and rolled out a multitude of new product developments, including enhancements to Diptronic, its pioneering radar-based level gauge for road tankers. It all comes on the heels of a strategic repositioning at the company designed to adjust to, and harness, its rapid growth.
