Barcelona is one of those cities that's got the lot: an idyllic climate, fantastic food and wine, superlative culture and some pretty far-out world-class architecture, not to mention its own golden beaches caressed by the lapping waves of the Mediterranean. More importantly, as detailed in the first part of this report (HCB September 2010, p42), it was also the setting for the European Association of Chemical Distributors' (FECC) 2010 Annual Congress, the second panel session of which kicked off with an address by Gwenole Cozigou, chemicals director at the European Commission's Directorate-General (DG) for Enterprise and Industry.
