Hawkins stays solid

US-based Hawkins has announced a fiscal 2012 second quarter net income of $6.9m, up slightly from the $6.8m posted this time last year, from sales worth $87.9m, themselves up 24.9 per cent year-on-year from $70.4m. Meanwhile, during the first six months of its year, the company achieved a net income of $13.6m from sales worth $176.5m compared to respective prior year figures of $14.2m and $145.1m.
