Mark Warner has a 25-year history in the logistics industry, both internationally and more specifically in Europe. Many readers may know him from his 10-year spell as group strategic director for Netherlands-based transport group Den Hartogh. They may also know his reputation for being a pioneer in the use of telematics innovations to help transport companies achieve performance improvements. Mark has now put these two strands of expertise together and, since April, has been managing director and vice-president, operations for Qualcomm Enterprise Services (QES) Europe. Qualcomm itself started in 1988 as a technology specialist for the transport industry, with the aim of helping operators get consignments to their destination as quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.
