Polar enhances production, sales

US tank trailer manufacturing, parts, and service company Polar is unveiling a number of initiatives aimed at reducing production lead times and expanding after-sales support. The company has added a third production shift at its Holdingford, Minnesota, and Springfield, Missouri, plants. It has also added equipment to its manufacturing process including a new tube bender, laser cutter and plasma cutter at its Opole, Minnesota, facility. The company says it also plans to add 15 to 25 Polar Service Center locations within the next 24 months. In April, the company opened Polar Service Centers in Louisville, Kentucky, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Phoenix, Arizona.
