Maersk Tankers has sold its 11-strong Handygas tanker fleet to Navigator Gas for $470m. The vessels will be transferred to Navigator over the course of 2013. All existing contract commitments will be honoured. Hanne B S(o)rensen, CEO of Maersk Tankers, explains the reasoning behind the sale: "Navigator Gas presented us with a great business proposition that supports our aim to simplify and release capital for future investments."
