IDEX buys Matcon

US-headquartered IDEX has acquired the Matcon Group, a UK-based producer of metal intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) and material processing systems for high-value powders used in the manufacture of fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals, foods and plastics. Located in Evesham, Worcestershire and operating sales offices in various key locations across the world, Matcon has a global customer base with a strong emphasis on the fast growing markets of Asia.
