NCEC finds a home at Ricardo

Ricardo has acquired the business and operating assets of AEA Technology pic from its administrators. The deal includes the activities of the National Chemical Emergency Centre (NCEC). Operations will continue as Ricardo-AEA, with Robert Bell continuing as managing director, reporting to Martin Fausset, managing director of Ricardo UK. "I'm delighted to be able to welcome AEA Europe and its employees to Ricardo," says Ricardo CEO Dave Shemmans. "AEA Europe has a strong reputation for its technical capabilities and has a pre-eminent position in advising on and developing major environmental policies.
