UK to update acetylene rules

The UK Health & Safety Executive (HSE) has opened a consultation on the legislative framework for acetylene. HSE is aiming to consolidate and modernise the current requirements, making them easier to understand and apply. HSE will also review its supporting guidance and seeks views on the information that is currently available. A public consultation on the proposals opened on July 30 and ends on September 24.
