GERMANY'S BRENNTAG HAS begunconstruction of a new muUi-miUion-pounddistribution facility in the north-east ofEngland. Located within Sunderland’s Turbine巳usiness Park and due for completion bythe end of this year, the new facility willinclude 370 m2 of office space, a 1,400-m2warehouse with dedicated high-bay storagefor both life and material science specialityingredients, and bulk storage facilities forinorganic products. Set to be the new homeof the 巳renntag Newcastle team and situatednext to the main A1 and A19 arterial routes,the 13,400-m2 site,巳renntag says, wiU alsofeature "extensive mixing and blendingcapabilities and will effectively be the hubfor the north-east of England, servicing boththe current customer base and the widerBrenntag network".
