New life for »Viktor Lenac«

»Viktor Lenac« Shipyard d.d. in Rijeka, Croatia, is one of the leading Mediterranean shipyards, with a tradition that lasts over a hundred years now. It was completely privatised in the end of 1992, and from July 1997, all the stocks issued by the yard were quoted in Tier I of Zagreb Stock Exchange. »Viktor Lenac« is the only Mediterranean Shipyard certified for Quality Management system according to ISO 9002 and Environmental Management System ISO 14001. The main activities of the Shipyard are repair and conversions of floating units, newbuilding of minor floating units, as well as construction and reconstruction of offshore units. During the year 2000, »Viktor Lenac« Shipyard contracted totally US$ 60 million worth of repairs, conversions and off-shore projects, of which one-fifth from the German market.
