Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush has had a little help from Mother Nature in his stump speech. The former Florida governor has been touting the record-breaking number of hurricanes he faced while in office as evidence of his commitment to public service. Nine hurricanes hit the Sunshine State during Bush's tenure in office, eight of them during a 14-month span in 2004 and 2005. "I believe it's important to have leaders that actually roll up their sleeves and solve problems," Bush told a crowd in Ohio on Friday. "How would you like to have been governor of a state that had eight hurricanes and four tropical storms, $100 billion of insured losses, and billions of dollars of uninsured losses over 17 months? For me, it was the greatest joy of service that I could ever imagine.
