Ben Carson to tour Colo. wastewater spill site

Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson is set today to visit the site of a massive mine wastewater spill near Durango, Colo., and is expected to use the trip as an opportunity to criticize U.S. EPA. Carson, a neurosurgeon, announced his plans to view the Gold King mine wastewater spill -- which pumped more than 3 million gallons of water contaminated with arsenic and other heavy metals into a tributary of the Animas River earlier this month -- in conjunction with a visit to Arizona's border with Mexico.
