Lawmakers request GAO report on firearm use

Senior House and Senate Republicans are asking the Government Accountability Office to investigate federal agencies' use of firearms. In a letter yesterday to Comptroller General Gene Dodaro, House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) and other lawmakers requested a review of how many and what kinds of guns agencies hold, and what policies and procedures govern their use.
