Quake cracks national park deck; lava destroys 117 homes

A record-setting 500-plus earthquakes rattled the area surrounding Kilauea volcano over a 24-hour period this weekend. A 5.5 magnitude quake Sunday cracked the overlook deck of the Jaggar Museum in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The quake further pushed back the reopening of that part of the park.
