Experts inject medication into starving orca

An international team of whale experts administered antibiotics yesterday to a sick orca in an urgent effort to rescue her. Four-year-old J50 is emaciated, and researchers suspect she has an infection. The team had been looking out for the orca and was able to reach her in waters near San Juan Island off Washington state.
