A revamped gold mining plan for a project proposed in central Idaho will delay the Forest Service's finalpermitting decision for the venture by two years, the developer announced today.The Forest Service had previously planned to decide whether to approve Perpetua Resources Corp.'s Stibnitegold and antimony mine in September. But the company, formerly known as Midas Gold Corp., reworked itsproposal."It was important to Perpetua Resources that we listen and act upon feedback provided by community members,tribes, environmental groups and cooperating agencies," CEO Laurel Sayer said in a news release.The project would take place in parts of the Payette and Boise national forests in the historic Stibnite miningdistrict.
