Nine state attorneys yesterday called on a federal court to stop an EPA policy that relaxed enforcement efforts inlight of the coronavirus pandemic.The request is part of a lawsuit filed last month by the states that highlights the harm EPA's move to scale backroutine monitoring measures would cause to public health, particularly among minorities."For many Americans - particularly those in low-income communities of color - the enforcement of our nation'spollution laws is literally a matter of life and death," New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) said in astatement.
