W.Va. accuses bankrupt company of polluting water

A bankrupt coal company is polluting West Virginia and ignoring orders to stop, according to state regulators.The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection (WVDEP) asked the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for theSouthern District of West Virginia to force a subsidiary of Blackjewel LLC to fix "numerous, critical and ongoingviolations" of state environmental laws.Revelation Energy LLC "continues to flout this State's legal requirements — designed to protect West Virginiansfrom imminent threats to their health and safety — and pollute our State's waters," the court filing states.
