Opponents of President Trump's 2017 cuts to the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument accused theInterior Department of failing to meet court-ordered requirements for releasing public documents and assertedthat the agency is inflating the number of pages it makes public by repeating some documents.In response to a lawsuit filed by the Conservation Lands Foundation, Grand Staircase Escalante Partners andthe Society of Vertebrate Paleontology, Interior is required to produce 1,500 pages of documents each month tomeet a Freedom of Information Act request.
