You were Forestry Commission's first female forester in Scotland and have recently retired from your role as environment and heritage manager at Forestry Commission Scotland.What will you miss most about the job? First and foremost, I'll miss the people. It was great to work with such a committed and enthusiastic team in central Scotland who had been recruited specifically for their roles. Everyone was really keen and always happy to help. In terms of the actual job, I'll definitely miss the satisfaction of making a difference on the ground and increasing the value of the forest area for the environment and its heritage.
