It's 2025. Who's making money - and how?

Small plants, big profits. In the 20th century, energy was big. Big wells, big mines, big smokestacks. This was energy you could see, hear and smell. By 2025, it's shrinking fast, and it's almost silent, too. Micro-wind on the roof, solar on the tiles and a plug-in car on the drive. Down the road, the community-owned power plant is purring away, burning up the local biomass to warm the neighbourhood and putting a little cash in the coffers by selling, surplus electricity into the grid.
