Hinkley nuclear project running a year late

The construction of EDF Energy's nuclear power plant at Hinkley Point in Somerset is now a year behind its original schedule, writes Vern Pitt. A revised timetable of work submitted to the Planning Inspectorate to support EDF's application for permission to build the plant reveals that construction work is now not due to start on site until 2014.
