Among the many new NovAtel product developments this year: 1. The company released its 0EM617D receiver, a compact, dual-antenna, dual-frequency, single-card receiver with ALIGN heading functionality and RT-2 RTK GNSS positioning technology, in dynamic and static environments. In NovAtel's smallest form factor, it is designed for the unmanned autonomous systems (UAS) market, land and air, among others. 2. NovAtel launches NovAtel CORRECT positioning technology, available with TerraStar's precise point positioning (PPP) corrections. Delivered via L-band, TerraStar corrections provide decimeter-level accuracy worldwide on all NovAtel OEM6 receivers, without adding base-station infrastructure. NovAtel CORRECT combines data from multiple GNSS satellite constellations with corrections from a variety of sources to deliver the best position solution possible. NovAtel parent Hexagon recently purchased TerraStar parent company Veripos.
