Pushbutton switch makers expand workshops to boost supply

Asian makers of pushbutton switches are establishing new production facilities to boost their output. In mainland China, the total output of pushbutton switches is forecast to grow by 15 percent by year-end. "We are running at full capacity for several months now, and orders moved up by 15 percent during the first half of this year. We plan to double the size of our workshop area to 26,000 square meters before the year ends," says Lily Yang, general manager of Shanghai Yanggang Electronic Co. Ltd. The company, which has been manufacturing a variety of switches in the past 20 years, has recently released its DS710-723, DS810-825, DS830-835, DS212-217, CS342, CS350 and CS360 series of pushbutton switches. Its products comply with UL and CE standards.
