Asian makers project 20 percent growth this year

Keylock switches in mainland China and Taiwan are expected to grow by 20 percent this year as manufacturers ramp up capacity in keeping with the increasing demand from the automotive electronics industry. More than 100 makers in mainland China are currently engaged in keylock switch manufacturing, with the majority situated in Wenzhou province. More manufacturers are expected to enter the business, particularly in the development of higher-end switches, since demand in domestic and international markets is pushing up potential revenues.
