Having conquered the world's low-end and midrange relay markets, mainland China suppliers are setting their sights on the high-end segment. Exporters are gearing up for market expansion, modifying their production strategy and intensifying product development. The China Electronics News Agency (CENA) reported that mainland China's relay industry has achieved $587 million total export value in 2007, up by 10 percent from the previous year. An increase of more than 10 percent is forecast in 2008 and 2009.
