Strong demand drives expansion in flexible/rigid-flex PCB line

China makers of flexible/rigid-flex PCBs are raising capacity to meet growing demand from the computer, aviation, military, medical and consumer electronics segments. The turnout of flexible boards or FPCs will increase 5 to 10 percent while rigid-flex yield is set to expand by 20 percent.rnSuppliers are more cautious in ramping up production of the former as exports dropped by about 10 percent in 2009 due to dwindling orders from North America and Europe.
