High specific energy, long life span drive sealed lead-acid battery R&D

摘要

Efforts to update lead-acid batteries, including sealed types, have yielded units that boast high specific energy and long operating life span. One is based on lead and activated carbon, with the latter used as negative electrode therefore lowering the lead content, and the other combines battery and ultracapacitor technologies.
