Shenzhen harnesses comprehensive industry chain, strong R&D

China is one of the world's major manufacturing centers for optoelectronic displays. More than half of the shipments come from the coastal province of Guangdong, which in turn relies on Shenzhen for over 50 percent of its volume. About 400 makers gather in the city hub, churning out a range of displays such as TN, HTN, STN and TFT LCDs, and LED and OLED types.
