Fixed−Mobile Convergence (FMC) With a Global View

FMC is not a new concept, but it is still developing. Many incumbents had both fixed andrnmobile businesses long before bundled offers entered the market (Deutsche Telekom [DT]rnGermany, for example, which launched its first bundle in 2014). Globally, 67% of operatorsrnwith both fixed and mobile businesses still do not offer FMC bundles, with Asia, the MiddlernEast, and Africa lagging behind in particular. However, while Western Europe is the largestrnregion to take advantage of existing converged assets, some economically strong countries inrnthis region lag behind in this trend, too.
