1. The Iter Organization (IO) is an international scientific organization hosted by France.2. Part of the French government's contribution to IO was to create the organization Agence Iter France (AIF). Both the IO and AIF are based at the Cadarache site, which is a research site of CEA (Commissariat a l'Energie Atomique), an organization that is also funded by the French government.
