35th International Symposium on Remote Sensing of Environment (ISRSE-35)

The theme of ISRSE-35, which will be held from 22 to 26 April 2013 in Beijing, China, will be 'Earth Observation and Global Environmental Change - 50 Years of Remote Sensing: Progress and Prospects'. The first International Symposium on Remote Sensing of Environment was convened in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA, back in 1962; it brought together scientists from around the world to exchange technical information on an emerging technology called remote sensing. The 2013 edition marks the first symposium in the series ever to be held in China.
