Reduce logistics costs with the ‘right’ outer packaging

In a case study on outer packaging for cheese, Baypack, the packaging specialist from the Allga'u region of Germany, shows how 16 % of logistics costs can be saved by switching from corrugated board to solid board. An analysis and a comprehensive examination of one's own transport and shelf-ready packaging can indeed be worthwhile, as demonstrated by the implementation of a packaging project for a producer of Emmental cheese by BayPack GmbH.
