Floating production, storage and off-loading unit of LNG

Demand for LNG is growing world widely to respond the increase of energy consump- tion and to solve the environmental contamination problem such as the excess-CO_2, etc.. This tendency stimulates the exploitation of the remote off shore gas under deep water. One of the economical ways to develop the remote off shore gas from deep sea is the use of LNG FPSO. The technology of LNG FPSO was studied in the past, and once was considered un- Feasible because of the absence of technology mainly such as adequate storage tanks Which withstood partial LNG loading at sea in economical way.
