The 43rd Tectonic Conference on the tectonics and geodynamics of Phanerozoic foldbelts and platforms was held February 25, 2009 by the Interagency Tectonic Committee, Division of Earth Sciences, Russian Acad emy of Sciences (RAS), the Geological Institute (GIN RAS), and the Faculty of Geology, Moscow State University (MSU).
