The story of Sudan and South Sudan is a very sad one. It is also one full of violence, corruption, deceit, displacement, discrimination, poverty, uncertainty and so much more. The Sudans have seen many civil wars, tribal conflicts, and more. If one were to walk about either country, one would have to wonder where all of the oil revenues went. South Sudan and Sudan are object lessons in how not to develop a country with oil. What makes matters even worse is that the Sudans never had that much oil to begin with. They have been arguing about how to use the oil wealth since the first drop left the first exploration well.
