Deterministic inversion of seismic data in the depth domain

摘要

Deterministic inversion of seismic data and related issues in the depth domain were analyzed. The seismic-well tie and deterministic inversion in the depth domain have been applied in a newly discovered carbonate reservoir on the westrncoast of India. The wavelet estimation and convolution issues in the depth domain can be handled through pseudodepth transformation with constant interval velocities derived through seismic-well tie analysis. This scheme overcomes the issue of wavelet estimation and convolution in the depth domain.
