The Pouce Coupe multicomponent time-lapse data provide insight into stress and fracture-related reservoir shear-wave anisotropy through the analysis of shear-wave splitting. The use of converted-wave data to clearly distinguish reservoir anisotropy relied on some key aspects of the processing sequence. We employed novel methods, specifically RADAR to better preserve vector fidelity, nrms-guided simultaneous processing, and coherence of the radial component of the data as objective function for the layer stripping procedure, in our multicomponent processing.
