IPTC 2015 Doha: Delivering a strong, balanced geosciences and engineering technical program

Practically speaking, the 2015 International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC) is just around the corner, 6-9 December 2015 in Doha, Qatar. The annual IPTC conference, which rotates between the Middle East and Asia Pacific, has evolved into one of the premier technically oriented multidisciplinary conferences in the region. Four professional societies (American Association of Petroleum Geologists [AAPG], European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers [EAGE], Society of Exploration Geophysicists [SEG], and Society of Petroleum Engineers [SPE]) work alongside industry host and cohost organizations to develop the conference. Host and cohost organizations for IPTC 2015 Doha, which is the Ninth IPTC conference, are Qatar Petroleum and Shell. The theme for this year's conference is "Technology and Partnerships for a Sustainable Energy Future."
