Hydrology During the 20th Century

Hydrology is a geoscience, whose scientific basis lies mainly in physics, but also in chemistry and biology of the endless cycle of water. This so called hydrological cycle is a global geophysical process that circulates a relatively constant amount of water among the various components of the system. The main components are oceans, atmos- phere, glaciers, groundwater and lakes. At present, man acts as an important agent by changing water flows storages according to this needs.
