At this time of the year, there is an abundance of reviews of the passing year, and they all ask similar questions such as "What did this year bring for us?" or "What were the events that moved the industry?" The big events such as Index, Techtextil, Outlook, ITMA or Hof Nonwoven Days should not be forgotten - also thanks to this magazine - because they showed more than ever that our industry is a dependable driver of growth, which confers on us the obligation to get the word out about ideas and innovative power (pp 23-38).%Rückblicke auf das Jahr werden uns in diesen Tagen zur Genüge geboten, und immer gibt es Fragen, was hat uns das Jahr gebracht oder welche Begebenheiten haben die Branche bewegt? Die gro?en Ereignisse wie Index, Techtextil, Outlook, ITMA oder Hofer Vliesstofftage sollen dank auch dieser Zeitschrift nicht in Vergessenheit geraten, haben sie doch mehr denn je gezeigt, dass unsere Industrie ein Wachstumsgarant ist, dass es uns geradezu verpflichtet, Ideenreichtum und Innovationskraft kundzutun (S.23-38).
