Im Rahmen eines Forschungsprojektes wurde ein neues Verfahrenskonzept zur Direktverarbeitung von Glasrovings zu Fila-mentvliesstoffen entwickelt. Es handelt sich um ein aerodynamisches Vliesbildungsverfahren, bei dem die Rovings in Druckluftinjektoren in Abh?ngigkeit vom Luftdruck sowie von der Art und Menge der Schlichte vollst?ndig oder anteilig zu Einzelfilamenten aufgel?st und anschlie?end auf ein umlaufendes, untersaugtes Siebband schlaufen-f?rmig zu einem Vlies abgelegt werden.%Within the framework of a research project, a new concept has been developed for the direct processing of glass rovings to filament nonwovens. The process in question is an aerodynamic web formation process in which, depending on the air pressure and on the type and quantity of the sizing agent, the rovings are completely or partly dissolved in compressed-air injectors into single filaments and then delivered in the form of loops onto a circulating perforated belt vacuumed from below so that a nonwoven is formed.
