摘要

With the buzz surrounding multimedia platforms in our industry these days, it seems print is often the least revered and talked about of our products, taking a back seat to digital and mobile products and initiatives. For most newspapers, however, print is still paying the bills, and there are plenty of advocates for the printed product who are committed to seeing it not only survive, but thrive. That was certainly evident at the Metro Users Group (MUG) meeting in Tampa, FL, in late May, where attendance was up 6% over 2013, according to Alvin Nesmith, MUG president and production manager at the Tampa Bay Times.
