NEW PRODUCTION VILLAGE FOR BBC

Dr Who is to get a new home in Cardiff, in a new production village being created by architecture practice Holder Mathias, which has offices in Cardiff as well as London and Munich. The project's concept design wsathe work of London-based practice Fat. The production village consists of a 260m-longrnoffice block and eight studios, with outdoor filming spaces. Fat developed a highly theatrical facade using motifs which reference the nearby dock warehouses, wave forms and the gothic architecture of Cardiff.
