In case you missed it, there was a lunar eclipse during the Futures Industry Association Expo recently in Chicago. The eclipse, which is a rarity, perhaps was one of those celestial indicators of things to come. Like a blue moon, it signaled an equal rarity: the usual rancor between the exchanges and their largest brokerage clients was muted.
