John Wallace, founder of MKW Futures, a trading firm based in Dublin, Ireland, says his system follows trends without being too risky or too greedy. He says the program has achieved low double-digit growth for this year with modest drawdowns. "Hitting home runs is not the way we do business. We're in the business of staying in business, and the way to stay in business is to make a plan for the bad times and don't get too greedy in the good times," Wallace says. MKW became the first Irish company to establish itself on Finex, the New York Cotton Exchange's (NYCE) global currency futures and options division, in September 1994. At that time, NYCE, which since has merged with another exchange to become the New York Board of Trade (Nybot), established a European trading session in Dublin.
